WE ARE A GROUP OF COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES WHO ARE DEDICATED TO MAKING THINGS HAPPEN FOR CHALVEY.

The Chalvey Community Partnership (CCP) launched in February 2020 it includes a group of community representatives who are dedicating their free time and expertise for the betterment of Chalvey.

The group is working in partnership with Slough Borough Council, Thames Valley Police, East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group, existing and new community groups and various other partners.

The aims and objectives of the group are to work in the interest of the community of Chalvey, focusing on key issues ranging from health and wellbeing, to housing and regeneration and community safety.

Mohammed Ahmed, Chairperson of Chalvey Community Partnership, said: “I am excited to be working with passionate individuals and groups who are committed to making a real change in Chalvey. We hope to work to develop a safer, stronger, and more resilient community through working together and taking ownership.”,

OUR AIMS

The aims of Chalvey Community Partnership are:

To work in the interest of the community of Chalvey, focusing on issues around the key themes in the Strong, Healthy and Attractive Chalvey plan (Health & Wellbeing, Housing & Regeneration, Businesses, Skills & Jobs, Community Safety, Community Cohesion and Environment)

To work with and alongside partner agencies working in the area, including but not limited to Slough Borough Council, Thames Valley Police and the East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group

To encourage a sense of pride in Chalvey for those who live, work, volunteer or go to school here
