The Chalvey Community Partnership are leading on the Street Guardians initiave in Chalvey.

We are always looking for new volunteers so if you would like to be part of Street Guardians initiave in Chalvey, then please get in touch and join us as an observer one evening.

Anyone over the age of 18, from any walk of life can become a Street Guardian. It is an exciting and rewarding way to meet like-minded people and to give back to your community.

There’s no minimum commitment – we have Street Guardian who volunteer on a regular rota and others on an ad hoc basis around their other commitments.

As a Street Guardian you will receive free training in the following areas:

Basic First Aid

CCTV
Conflict Management

Commonwealth Jubilee Celebrations

We had a fantastic time at the Curve Slough for the Commonwealth Jubilee Celebrations which was organised by HOME Slough on 3rd June 2022.

Chalvey Community Partnership and Slough Anti Litter Society jointly operated a stall which was well attended.

The celebrations were amazing with alot of networking going, we were happy to see alot of chalvey residents join in on the fun and also chalvey businesses. It was great to have met the owners of Goodness Gracious Ginger which is run by a chalvey family.

Inspired by projects created for Slough Black History and in partnership with HOME Slough, the Commonwealth Jubilee Celebration it brought together Slough people, local creatives, artists and performers to share and celebrate the Commonwealth.
